Fibre & Clay is a celebration of sculptural, tactile art — where earthy ceramics meet the softness and movement of fibre. This exhibition brings together an inspiring mix of pottery, hand-built forms, woven materials, feathers, and statement statues that invite you to slow down and really look.

Across the gallery you’ll find works that play with contrast: smooth clay and rugged textures, delicate details and bold shapes, muted natural tones alongside vibrant pops of colour. Each piece is thoughtfully made, richly layered, and completely one of a kind — art that doesn’t just sit on a wall, but transforms a space.

Hosted at Meeniyan Art Gallery, a much-loved South Gippsland destination renowned for showcasing work from a wide range of local and Victorian artists, Fibre & Clay reflects MAG’s ongoing commitment to supporting and celebrating the region’s creative community. The gallery proudly champions artists and makers, offering visitors the chance to discover unique works and connect with the stories behind them.
