We Welcome Artists from Gippsland and Beyond.
Exhibiting at Meeniyan Art Gallery offers artists a unique opportunity to showcase their work in one of Gippsland’s most vibrant creative hubs. Located in the heart of Meeniyan, a town celebrated for its thriving arts, food, and cultural scene, the gallery attracts both locals and visitors from across the region and Melbourne metro.
The Meeniyan Art Gallery is perfectly placed to exhibit and sell your artwork:
• The Gallery is run by local volunteers and is open 6 hours a day, 6 days a week for 300 days per year.
• About 2000 people per month visit the gallery
• All artworks are sold on a 30% commission basis and we return more than $100,000 per year to artists from sales.
• We have three exhibition spaces available - small, medium, and large. To help plan your exhibition, you are welcome to download the floorplan and prices.
• Exhibition fees are based on the fact that the Gallery is totally self funded and has outgoing expenses for rent, electricity and other costs of about $60,000 per year
• Exhibitions are scheduled for a calendar month and are produced to ensure quality.
• All submissions to the Gallery uses online webforms for your publicity images and inventory
• Artists are given the choice to allow purchased works to be taken during the show when paid for, or to remain for the full duration of the show.
